Are you up for a little challenge to see if we can motivate you?

This challenge is very simple.  All you have to do, is listen to the following 2 minute audio clip, first thing in the morning, and last thing at night.  You can even download the clip and set it as your alarm clock, so it’s the first thing you hear when you wake up.

Listening to motivational speakers and different motivational audio, has completely changed my life.  Motivational audio is extremely powerful.  However, there is one thing you need to know about ‘Motivation’… It is short lived.  It’s a feeling or emotion.  You either feel motivated, or unmotivated.  Always.  Your either one or the other.  So if you don’t do something to motivate yourself, you will be unmotivated.  Motivation for something, will soon disappear.  For example, I bet you feel motivated after you listen to this audio clip.  But if you don’t listen to it again soon, the effect will be gone, and you’ll no longer be motivated, so you’ll be unmotivated.

Motivated, is having a strong current desire to do or achieve something.  Unmotivated, is not having a strong current desire to achieve something.  You may always have a desire to be healthy, but if your unmotivated, the emotion will not be strong enough to cause you to take action.

So, what does all this mean, and how can you use it to your advantage.  Quite simply, to be constantly motivated, you need to work on constantly motivating yourself.  Eventually, when enough time has passed, motivation will become determination, which is different.  Determination is a much stronger emotion.  But to reach determination, you need to motivate yourself everyday.  That’s why listening to the audio clip once, will not work.  You need to listen to it everyday.  You need to take steps to motivate yourself every single day.  2 minutes at the start and end of each day, will not get you highly motivated, but it will certainly get you started, especially if you are currently unmotivated.

The Motivational Audio clip

I have listened to hundreds upon hundreds of hours of motivational audio, over the past 6-7 years.  It’s the driving force behind so much that I have achieved.  I have many favourite clips, that have great effect.  This is one such clip.  90% of it, is by the great motivational speaker, Les Brown.  I had the privileged of attending a full day seminar with Les, in London, exactly 6 days after I opened my gym.  Let’s say, it had an amazingly positive effect on me and the business.  I hope you enjoy it and get as much from this clip as I do.

There is one tip I use, that gives motivational audio extra effect for me.  I get most from it, when I listen to it loudly with headphones on.  I don’t know if this will work for everyone, but it certainly adds another dimension for me.

Feel free to listen to this clip as many times as you wish.  You could listen to it 10 times in a row.  The more the better.  However, the challenge is to listen to it at least once, first thing in the morning, and last thing at night, for 7 days.
